Welcome to GridBase. By using the site you agree to these terms. They're written to be read, not to scare you — but they do matter.

What GridBase is

GridBase is a community-maintained motorsport database covering drivers, teams, series, circuits, calendars and transfers. GridBase is an independent fan project: we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Formula 1, the FIA, ACO, IMSA, Formula E or any championship, team or driver. All names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

Your account

• You must provide accurate registration information.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe.
• One account per person; don't share or sell accounts.
• We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Use offensive, misleading or infringing names anywhere on the site.

Data accuracy

Motorsport data changes fast and our database is maintained by humans. We work hard on accuracy but provide the data "as is", without warranty. Don't use GridBase as the basis for financial decisions, betting or anything where an error would cost you money.

Content and licence

The GridBase database structure, editorial content and articles are © GridBase. Driver photographs may carry their own licences (for example CC BY-SA), credited where displayed. You may quote and link to GridBase freely with attribution.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GridBase is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site. The service may change, pause or stop at any time — it's a fan project, not a bank.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above always reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
